Puthu vaipu beach (also known as the vypeen light house beach) is just half an hour's drive from Ernakulam marine drive. Is a quick get away from city. Not much to do there except enjoying a quiet, peaceful evening at the beach. Not crowded. No shops near by. If you are interested in photography, if the sky is not too cloudy, this place can be ideal with that lonely tree, stream flowing into the sea and the light house at the backdrop.
