Try a priyor manga, which is a Kerala speciality. The tastiest mango I have ever had. Ask for the specific priyor manga (mango)

There was a time, when every household had priyor manga trees. Before the annual school vacation (April/May), households used to gather these mangos (manga in malayalam)  and spread them for ripening, preferably on the upstairs. These mangos are meant to quench the appetite of the cousins who visited us during the school vacations. Once in a while, we used to sneak into these rooms, without anyone's notice for early pre-views :-)
