Pepper macro photography

Kerala was the trade hub for the Dutch, British, Portuguese and Arabs centuries ago, and pepper was the main attraction. Kerala produces best of pepper, cardamom, nutmegs etc. Most of the tourists buy these to take home. The photograph here is a macro shot using a canon extension tube on a canon 550d. For the blue background I kept two blue bottles around a couple of feet behind the subject.
