This photograph would have been better without the garbage. Be an environmental friendly traveler...

Kerala is promoted as the God's own country, and it was indeed one when we started with this slogan for promoting tourism,  and at the same time it is becoming the proverbial achille's heels because of irresponsible tourism. The so called tourism think tank of Kerala, out of their sheer ignorance and favoritism to the building mafia  is hell bent on making the once 'God's own green country' to a Dog's own country, another concrete jungle like Dubai or Singapore. The accumulated filth is buried underneath the carpet. One see plastic every where, even in deep forests. The lagoons and wet lands which are the home to migratory birds are fast getting converted into high risers with water front, for the rich and the affluent when the common man is suffocated and infected by mosquitoes by allowing the high risers to arrest the free flow of air. If you are an environment friendly visitor traveler, please help us to save Kerala by avoiding all those who do not care about environment.

Every visit of mine to Kerala fills me with increasing dislike for the state. The people are losing their sense of cleanliness and civility.
Yes..kerala is shredding the face of a peaceful beauty to a metro monster, which is the global trend of capitalistic development. The beautiful social fabric is broken as if there is no return. I am just focusing on what can I do,in my own humble way..like planting more trees. :-)
