129 # Visit Kadamakkudy

Kadamakkudy is a small village on the suburbs of Kochi city of  Kerala. You can reach there within 60 minutes drive from the kochi city. If you are a budget traveler, then you have the following options;

1) Take a boat to 'pizhala' from Ernakulam
2) Take the ferry service to Kadamakkudy

It is a beautiful quiet village, comprising of  acres of paddy fields which gets converted into prawn farms for 6 months of the year. I could not see any good hotels there, except a  'Toddy shop'. It will not be a bad idea if you carry your food and water, while visiting Kadamakkudy. Evenings are ideal.
