Christmas is celebrated by everyone in Kerala. Thanks to the higher education levels of the Keralaite, and the almost equal distribution of the population among Hindus, Christians and the Muslims. Most of the festivals are celebrated by every one. For christmas and New year it is very visible in the form of decorations, cribs, stars, midnight masses and carnivals. This is the time of family get together. Malayalees (Keralaites) are available everywhere in this world, and this is the time when they all come to Kerala to be with the rest of the family members. During this time, the climate is also pleasant (not very hot).
