182# Visit New VAC wood craft, at Pattanakkad on the National highway between Ernakulam and Alleppey. If you are lucky, you will be able to get some good furniture / collectibles at reasonable rates.

Today we located this antique / furniture shop at Pattanakkad, on the NH 47 highway between Ernakulam and Sherthallai. Even bought a piece as well. The price is definitely lesser than those handicrafts shops at Kochi, Trivandrum cities. If you are interested in handicrafts / antiques, you must visit this small shop on the highway. The last photograph gives you the address of the shop @ Pattanakkad. 

See the furniture piece we bought. Poorer by a thousand rupees. Still happy, because at some other place, it would have cost me more.
