Enjoy Thrissur pooram
I have seen the Thrissur pooram a couple of decades back. Thrissur pooram is known as the pooram of poorams (festivals). Whenever I think of Thrissur pooram, what comes to my mind are the decorated elephants (101 of them) standing in two rows, kuda mattam, panchavadyam, the crowd and the fire works. This year, the pooram is on May 1st and the main events are as follows;
Madathil varavu - 11.36 a.m
Elanjithara melam - 2.30 p.m
Kuda mattam - 5.30 p.m
Fireworks - May 2nd 3.00 a.m
I am planning to go.
