Enjoy a typical Kerala, non vegetarian lunch at the Travancore court, Warriam road, Ernakulam

Today, we went to the Travancore court hotel, in the Warriam road at Ernakulam (Kochi). I liked the lunch especially the main course comprising of typical Kerala fish curry, Chicken curry, Mutton curry, various thorans, moru curry, dal, chemeen (prawns) chammanthi, fish pickle, mango pickle etc. The kappa (tapioca) with meen vattichathu is delicious.  There were soups, noodles, fried rice and beef chilly as well for the chinese food enthusiast, apart from the desserts. If at all I have to give a recommendation for improvement, then it is for the desserts section. The ambiance is excellent with enough privacy for a family outing. At Kochi (Ernakulam), if you are looking a decent hotel for a decent lunch, then travancore court is strongly recommended. The lunch buffet costs around USD 10/-. The staff is very courteous, and there is valet parking.
