Visit the beautiful Bolghatty palace hotel

Bolghatty palace hotel is beautiful. It a palace converted to a star hotel, run  by the kerala state tourism development corporation ktdc. We had buffet lunch there, which was rupees four hundred plus taxes. The buffet comprised two types of soups, naan, chicken curry, fish curry, rice, raitha, pickles, kaalan. The desserts comprised of caramel custard pudding, ice cream and parippu payasam. After the heavy lunch we started exploring the place. The palace is surrounded  by spacious lawns. The swimming pool was big and tempting. There is a beer parlor which serves beer @ Rs.200/bottle (may vary). The landscapes and the atmosphere was really irresistable for the photographer in me and we ended up taking some very interesting photographs. Some of us had a refreshing nap under the shades of the trees. The breeze from the sea kept the mercury down while we enjoyed every moment of our stay there.
